    this number came up recently.

    I remember it has some significance in Yiddishkeit.

    I learned two of these matters a long time ago. One had something to do with the time quantity of chalekim.

    I don’t recall the other inyan at all.

    Ring any bells here?

    While I was waiting I recalled: there are 1080 chalakim in an hour.

    But I think there was something else. I haven’t a clue.

    Maybe there isn’t.
