    Why is it “right” or “wrong”. They are a global chain and not that much different from similar convenience markets already operating all across EY. They do not present themselves as kosher or shomer shabbos so I’m not sure what problem you have.

    There are 7-11’s in frum neighborhoods in the Five Boros. The one with which I am familiar has a hecksher from, I think, VHQ. What is the issue in Eretz Yisrael?

    7-11 has a free drink day, would it be Nov 7 in Israel?

    I usually use this to discuss with kids that they need to actually buy something before or during the “free” day. Sone matanos.
