A golden opportunity

In a couple of days, it will be time to welcome Aharon Hacohen into our Succahs. Aharon Hacohen is famous for stopping the plague affecting Bnei Yisrael in the desert with the Ketoret. Let us plead to Hashem that in the merit of Aharon Hacohen, we should merit a similar miracle in our times that the COVID virus can come weakened and hopefully disappear like the plague that disappeared in the desert. Let us adopt the tributes of Aharon Hacohen that fought so relentlessly that there should be peace and harmony among all of the Jewish people’s classes. Let us unite as one nation and cry out to Hashem as one that this virus should be eliminated from our midst.
We have lost too many diamonds and pearls because of this frightening and invisible virus. So many people are in pain, tears, and feel so displaced by this invisible terror. What is currently happening to the beloved Jews that are living in Eretz Yisroel is so heart-rending. Is it not a source of chillul Hashem, that such a holy place with so many Jews should be so affected by the plague? Let us plead to Hashem that as Aharon Hacohen helped us in the Midbar, may we also be helped on his special day that the COVID virus should disappear or become weakened and stop hurting us.
