because it is very powerful and something we should never forget, to realize the victims of the Shoa were not just numbers but people….

strange that on such a site, people would turn their noses and make fun of an article about the Shoa…if frum yids don’t care, how will anyone else…sad responses indeed

The tears are streaming down my face – I don’t know how his grandson found the koach to tell his zaida’s story. He is also a hero for writing it and bringing an actual family back to tell their story. It is so true – we keep talking about the “six million”, but we don’t know any actual names. Well now we do. I am going to ask if I can read this story from the bimah at my shul next Yom Hashoah.
