Like I always feel the person is going outta their way to complement and they don’t really mean it… Or I don’t feel I’m good enough for the complement. How can I solve this issue that I have?? I’m finding it very hard. HELP! August 29, 2012 2:05 pm at 2:05 pm #893564 The Chassidishe GatesheaderMember I’m quite the other way. 2 years ago at work: Someone: “You’re BRILLIANT! You’re a genius!” Me: “Yeah, I know.” August 29, 2012 4:55 pm at 4:55 pm #893565 frummy in the tummyParticipant Just say thank you and try not to think about it too much – I’ve got the same issue (sorry to be a spelling nazi, but you want compliment with an “i”, not complement with an “e”). Great post btw! 😉 August 29, 2012 7:04 pm at 7:04 pm #893566 WIYMember frummy in the tummy Its disgraceful to use the word Nazi as though its a slang term. You cheapen the word.
