I thought adding milk to your coffee was because primative coffee drinkers did not know how to properly roast and brew the beans, causing an exceptionally acidic taste. The pH properties of milk (high base) helped to neutralize it.

I used to be addicted to slurpees! My family thougt I was nuts! But I switched to coffee.
coffeeroomfan-Don’t drink Coke it is quite unhealthy. Water, Herbal Teas, Lemonade… the choices are there go for it.
Oomis, doing well. no contractions yet, but an induction is scheduled for tomorrow. I do NOT want to be induced, so everyone send labor vibes!
SJSinNYC – You should have an easy labor and both Mommy and baby should be healthy b”eH.
If you do not want to be induced, there are a couple of things you may want to try to get labor going naturally. Taking a few tablespoons of castor oil – my sis-in-law did this and went into labor (but she was overdue). May sound yucky, but some say it works – do an enema. (Sorry if the “e” word offended anyone!) You may want to check with your dr. first.
