Anyone know secrets to getting really low fares? I have a lot of Simchos coming up in NY (from Chicago) and can’t imagine all that driving! thanks!
BTW, any good advice on miles from credit cards would be helpful too…
Also, can you get a low fare if you must fly within a couple of weeks (i.e. last minute)?

book one way tickets on separate flights
Orbitz.com usually has good last-minute deals involving different airlines and/or airports.
Also, book a flight to somewhere further than your destination and when you near the place you really want to go to, cause a ruckus on the plane, like by pushing your seat all the way back while they’re serving drinks, allowing them to make an ’emergency’ landing in the destination of your choice….

Spirit Air, if you join the $9 club you can get really good deals. We got tickets to Detroit for $50 (that was round trip, including taxes and everything). Good luck!!
Fly southwest…Midway is not that far. Really. They have free bags and no extra charges. Other than that look at kayak.com and try to be flexible.
