If I announce that I’m not posting anymore until after Pesach,then I probably won’t because that would make me look foolish (again) so,here goes…(deep breath,dive in)
I,bli neder will not post until after Pesach,because I no longer need the computer for ANY OTHER PURPOSE at this time.

Eclipse, don’t be so hard on yourself. WE are here if you need us for any reason at all. So do whatever you need to do or want to do. But if you need us, don’t hesitate to come and vent or call upon us for whatever you need us for.

I also made a resolution..(forced by..) painful though.. It lasted until I encountered the warm camaraderie, friendship etc. beckoning me back. I COULDN’T RESIST. So I’m back (unfortunately, for some).
Eclipse: Do you want CR to go under??? You’re here for us, we’re here for you. That’s the way The One Above arranged this world – give and take! Interfering with Pesach cleaning? Do what I do. Divide & Post. (Divide the amount of inches to a wall, floor etc.)

Eclipse – I’ve been lurking in the CR quite a while and have followed your posts with interest. You seem just the type of person I would love to get to know personally (though there’s not much chance of that).

And yes – I shouldn’t be here, I should be cleaning for Pesach, but it’s so much more interesting here.
I always wonder why posters announce that they are planning to leave or not to post for a given time. Why not just do what u have to? If you dont have time to post, or find it a waste of time, then stop. Why the announcement? Do you want convincing to stay? If yes, then Eclipse, I really enjoy your good humor, your spirit and spunk, your reaction and acceptance of the challenges life has brought you. Many times when there are tons of posts on a topic I just scroll down, and when I see ur name I stop to read what u worte. U will be missed!!!!

I guess the same reason posters announce anything they announce – the CR is for chatting. 🙂 if someone is a longtime member, why should he/she just disappear without announcing it?
eclipse – two vitally important things: choc and patience. The latter I need to cultivate and the former I need to resist

I’m in the CR for years and never had an addiction problem. When I’m busy I just don’t check in!
Sometimes I can get carried away a bit, but usually not.
Not that hard to tear myself away!
There’s a story about R’ Dessler ZT”L that he told everyone he met that he had quit smoking. When asked why, he responded that if he didn’t tell people, he might lose his resolve, but this way, he’d be too embarrassed to be seen smoking.

Time to move past your divorce stage, into a new one like marriage. It’s called moving on in life.
I don’t know who you are -so I don’t know about your divorce or scandal. So tell me – how are you moving on? You seem to constantly mention your situation. It might be possible to move on without getting remarried, but this will be a very difficult task, to say the least.
Whatdyu talking about health, I hope everyone moves on BEFORE they remarry. Marriage is not a hospital!!
What I’m talking about is sometimes things go hand in hand. You can start working on yourselves beforehand, but you might need a boost to get over it, like marriage. Like the concept -“Gita V’yoda Boin K’echod.”
