    Cute, but the pyramids were there many centuries before Avraham Avinu. He may have visited them on his descent into Mitzrayim.

    Yeah, an open letter to the rioters. Kindly, pretty please, cool your engines, put away your toys (guns, knifes..) for a moment to read this open letter.

    And yes, it’s confirmed, these were in existence many years before Yaakov Avinnu went down. Someone told me they are sort of connected to Idols/worship.

    Popa,

    No, there were over a hundred built over a period of several centuries. The largest ones were clearly massive construction projects involving tens of thousands of (probably slave) laborers. The largest one was the tallest building in the world until the construction of some European cathedrals in the middle ages, and the first man-made structure to be significantly taller was the Eiffel Tower, completed in 1889.

    Look at the beginning of Shemot. It does not say that we were enslaved to build pyramids, but rather “store cities”.

    MDG; So, what happened to those cities that the Israelites (The Yidden) built in ancient Egypt, (Which, BTW is not located where present day Egypt is. Rather, where Sudan is.)

    I’d love to know your source for this… especially since the Nile Delta (which is NOT in modern-day Sudan) is central to Egyptian history.
