Sounds familiar?
Do health providers take responsibly for the anxiety, fear, terror caused by their inattentiveness? Am I the only one?

Just because YOU are not the only one, YOU are NOT the only patient and you have no idea how the phone is ringing off the hook, how many lab reports they are chasing down, how much of a run-a-round they are getting from the lab etc.
You are always teaching us to have patience and to dan l’kaf zchus. Please listen to your own advice.

Never thought of it that way. When you’re down, the whole picture looks a bit different. Now, where is ZeesKite. The happy one. I’d like to tune in!

March 15, 2011 8:58 am at 8:58 am #749694haifagirlParticipantAh! One of the nice things about living in Israel. I usually have a short wait in the waiting room. Once I’m called into the exam room, it’s to see the doctor who is sitting there waiting for me.
I get most test results online. Depending on the test it may take only a few hours.

Although you are correct, some doctors (and mostly, their office staff) do not properly take their patients’ anxiety into consideration. I once spent hours in an emergency room waiting for a very relaxed and underwhelmed staff to get around to doing their job.
