I’m working at a camp for special needs kids. (Any more than that would give me away even more than I have up til now.)
I know girls going to both The Zone and Nageela, and they’re all awesome ^^^^^ 🙂

a debate which probably will never end…… for you its oorah for me its nageela. before choosing i spoke to so many people involved in both and conclusion this one was best for me but i am sure girl zone is best for you. i guess i sort of started this little debate though lol

Please for everyone’s good DO NOT open a debate about nageela and the zone. They are unique each in their own ways. Both have their pros and cons, yet both have done amazing things. Just don’t even start…..

writersoul – don’t tell us, just give us the name of your favorite campers!!!! Jk I loved working in camps for kids with special needs. That’s actually how I met my husband when I was working as an administrator and he was a 1-on-1.

We are spending the summer in Las Vegas because my husband has an internship here. We don’t want to settle down in Vegas, but it’s nice to see a new place and will be great work experience for his resume.
that is surely a contrast in cultures!! Enjoy your summer.
Actually, there is a nice frum community here. We have several shuls, mikvahs, and an eruv. I believe there is even a day school through 8th grade.

I WISH!!!! Packed some of my stuff (and now have no clothes to wear lol) but still have tons more to pack. Today was my last day of tests so its the first night i can stop thinking about school 🙂

I was actually going to go to Vegas with a few friends to run the day camp there and stay by a nice chofetz chaim family. But then i got into Nageela so there goes that!
Kutz Camp was a source of great nahat growing up, and it instilled a love for yiddishkeit within me. While still a bahur, it would be nice to work in a camp over a summer again. I was a counselor and residential habilitation therapist in a couple of camps for special needs yidden.
