We are flying in for a wedding in WIlliamsburg and staying at the new Condor. Its supposed to be freezing and snowy, anyone know of places closeby walking distance to grab a bite to eat, or shopping. Its Franklin btwn Park and Flushing I think..
First of all, you have Hatzlacha Supermarket on Flushing avenue between Franklin & Skillman. It’s nice and they have a fleishig takeout section as well.
I think there’s also a grocery on Bedford ave. bet Flushing and Park called “chestnut” (I might be wrong about the name)
about Shopping, you have S&W clothing and shoes on Wallabout between Bedford and Lee Avenue, and in General most stores are on Lee Avenue. 5 min. by car. Even if you’re walking- Williamsburg isn’t that big, so if you have time I’d recommend going up a few blocks and checking out Lee Avenue.
Which hall? Many of them (Rose Castle, Eden Palace, the ones on Bedford) are within a 5-10 minute walk. And lest I checked, there is no snow in the forecast.
If you need to get to Ateres Avrom, that’s a bit of a hike (close to 20 minutes from Condor).
Either way, say “vus’i neiz” to the brothas for me!
There’s a new milchige place called Coffee Circle.. really beautiful private place.. Its on Kent between flushing and park I think, or a block further…
There’s also a new flieshig beautiful place on bedford between park and myrtle..
Oh, sorry. I thought you were asking how close the Condor is to the hall the wedding is at.
I thought the Condor provides food?
