i have an apple cranberry kugel thats very easy too.

    in a bowl mix:

    1 c flour

    1 c oats

    1/2 c brown sugar

    1/2 c oil

    2 tsp cinnamin

push half the mixture into the bottom of an 8×8 or 9 round

    then put on top:

    3 apples sliced thinly

1 can cranberry sauce spread over the apples

then put remainder of mixture on top.

cook at 350 for an hour.

Neatfreak, your kugel sounds like the one I make. I cheat a little. Instead of potchking with the apples, I open a can of apple pie filling, and it is a perfect substitute.

Jo Jo, I made your kugel for Shabbos and it is one of the best recipes I have ever tasted. I will be making it for Rosh Hashana. It is such a easy fast recipe to make. Thanks so much for sharing it.
