Baruch Hashem for providing us with Assistive Technology!
The following are a few useful tools to help facilitate success in school and the workplace:
-Otter a.i. live transcribing program
Advancements in assistive technology are helping people with various special needs become more independent!
If you or someone you know would benefit from having help with notetaking, editing, remembering directions, keeping organized, and learning through alternative and/or multiple senses , I recommend testing out assistive technology!
Thank you 🙂August 15, 2019 1:07 pm at 1:07 pm #1775354JosephParticipant
Why isn’t a simple smartphone with the appropriate app sufficient without the above gadgets?August 15, 2019 7:11 pm at 7:11 pm #1775593
The Livescribe pen audiorecords your handwritten notes, and makes them available with the audio on your computer.
Handwriting notes helps the brain process information to be stored into memory. Having a phone record audio on it’s own is not the same as writing notes by hand, especially for kinesthetic and/or visual learners.August 15, 2019 7:11 pm at 7:11 pm #1775594
Kurzweil is a computer software program that assists with writing/typing, organizing, and reading.
Is writing a document on your phone the same as typing one on your computer?August 15, 2019 8:05 pm at 8:05 pm #1775629☕️coffee addictParticipant

Coffee Addict: I own no stock in the company. I do not work for any sales team.
The benefits that I get from assistive technology tools are immense on their own.
Though, to be upfront and honest, I am currently navigating Otter a.i. I still need a couple weeks of experience with the app and program.
It’s just amazing how much better my life is with these tools!!
Otter a.i. is giving me something that could have helped me significantly as recently as last year.
Really a blessing!!!
