is that the full name of ateres seminary? what type of seminary is that?
There’s an Ateres in EY that stands for Ateres Bais Yaakov or Ateres Bnos Yisrael or something like that (I know the rashei taivos are ABY). I never heard of Ateres Miriam, but a lot of new seminaries have opened up the past few years. Is this a new school? Is it in EY?
Many seminaries contain the word Ateres. Where is this one located?

You are asking for information about a seminary that you know nothing about including the country it is located? Surely you are joking.
IF the seminary you are asking about is in Brooklyn N.Y. it MIGHT be the seminary known as Ateres Seminary with the word “Naava” written into the crown. In which case look up ateres Naava dot net. I know nothing about the seminary But the reputation of those involved is nothing but praiseworthy. Contact info is available on that site as well.

Just by googling “Ateres Miriam” I found many entries, including the full name (Bais Yaakov Ateres Miriam), the address (1214 Heyson Road, Far Rockaway, NY 11691), and a phone number (718-868-3232).
C’mon, nobody would think to do this?

Sorry, it’s Heysen Road, I misspelled it. If you enter the correct address into Google, click Maps, then you’ll get a very nice picture of the front of the building.
The seminary that is called Ateres is Ateres Bnos Yerushalayim and it is in EY (in case you can’t tell from its name).
If you want to know more about it, it’s best to ask girls who were in seminary within the past year or two, since these things change all the time.
Any information I have is slightly out-dated. There is not much I can tell you anyhow. It’s a Bais Yaakov seminary but on the more open-minded/left-wing end of the Bais Yaakov seminary spectrum. The last I heard they were getting a mix of girls including more modern Bais Yaakov girls and Bnos Rochel girls. The girls whom I know who went there loved it! They are more open-minded than most Bais Yaakovs. I believe it is less pressure than most seminaries and has more hashkafa (but you might want to check that out).
Meno: actually, apushatayid got it right – Sparkly was asking “about a seminary that you [she] know nothing about including the country it is located.” I think I posted enough information for her to find out the rest of what she needs on her own.
