So my kids have a camera in their kid’s room, and they can view and control it thru an app on their phones. Even tho i dont worry about them using it to check on me, or what time i actually put the kids to sleep, or whether or not i read extra books or allowed treats in bed, i was wondering how other people would feel about babysitting for grandchdren if there was a camera in the livingroom or den that could be accessed any time without your knowledge.

    Cover the lens.

I think there is an understanding with grandparents that they don’t need to be checked on like a hired nanny.

That wasn’t really the question. And whether or not they would even consider watching you would depend on the type of relationship you have with them. But I was just asking about comfort level of being in the home as family, not as an employee, knowing you could be viewed without your knowledge.

I would assume that they dont check on you. I would ignore it.
