I don’t understand all the hatred…it seems like every post turns into MO bashing… what’s even sadder is it seems to have picked up right after the tragic death of Leiby, which actually saw us come together… It seems to have reached a feverish pitch.

I would like to thank several posters who have made an effort to bridge the gap and speak of our similarities instead of our differences… comming to the CR has been an eye opener. I really had no idea that some in the charedi community looked down on MO’s with such hatred…I’m lucky that I gave only experienced the hatred in my virtual world and not BH in my real life..

I mentioned it before, but I think the hatred is a New York thing…in other “out of town” communities I’ve lived in there has always been a mutual respect among frum yidden…we shop at the same stores, frequent the same restaurants, and even daven in the same shuls… Our Minyans are comprised of men in black hats, those wearing jeans, Sephardic, those with long peyos, and those who are just returning to their roots… We are all counted equally and all say amen together… We all say hello and we all share in each others sorrows and joys.

BH, this has been my experience in Montreal…where all Jews are seen as family and are all counted equally to make up a minyan…it’s so sad to read the vile comments here…some of the posters leave me shaking my head…we have learnt nothing.
