    Hi all,

I have been religious (shomer shabbos/kashrut/etc.) for about three years now, and learn usually twice a week at kiruv organizations. I’m looking for something significantly more structured that can give me the foundation to learn in the future. I’m not a complete beginner (can read/write Hebrew, small vocabulary, familiarity with how gemara works, etc.), but definitely don’t have the skills right now to just sit down and learn gemara.

Do you have any suggestions? I have heard good things about Machon Meir as well as Aish, though I’m not interested in the kiruv aspect of Aish.

    Thanks!

The “Fundamentals of Talmud” method developed by R’ Ayson Englander, which is used for teaching Gemara learning skills at Yesodei Hatorah (Baltimore) and other places may fit what you are looking for.
