    So, I am looking to purchase a new shaver. Can anyone in the CR recommend one with the best balance of price, effectiveness, and comfort, as well as where (in-store or online) to buy it? Thank you.

    Please note that I am not interested in spurring a whole discussion on the approbation of using shavers. If a shaver requires removal of the lift-and-cut or similar feature, you can mention that.     I personally use a Remington R-800. It’s Kosher right out of the box. Very satisfied with it.

    I saw reviews online and most people didn’t like the Remington R-800. ANy other suggestions.

    I have been happy for the past 38 years using norelco shavers. There are some Rabbonim who say lift and cut is not a problem. If you don’t want to rely on them just have them removed.
