a yungerman in Lakewood was maspid reb nosson tzvi z”l. On the way back to NY he stopped for a doze as he was driving and tired. In his dream Reb Nosson Tzvi z”l appeared to him and said – do you learn Mussar? He replied, why do you ask? Reb Nosson Tzvi z”l said – only someone who learns mussar could have given such a good hesped.
Only Reb Nosson Tzvi z”l who gave away everything for everyone else could have complimented someone on the hesped that he gave for him!
Do you have a source for that story? Because I just don’t believe you.
