He is your typical teenage boy who is into sports and iPods and what not.(he already has an iPod) I want to spend enough to show I really mean it but less than $100.

Daas- Seriously I’ll consider that!

Yossi- He would use a sefer but he’s not so the type. He loves the Yankees and likes nice clothing ie. a nice tie or belt etc. What do you have in mind when you say “Toys? Chachkas?”?

happiest- He is in yeshiva out of town and although he would love it I dont think his yeshiva would approve of him getting it there.

doodle jump- I was with him on Chanukah when someone gave him watch number 7 and he said to me “Now I have one for each day of the week.” I don’t think that is the ideal gift if you know what I mean!

I was just listing off different categories of things 16 year olds would like

How about a pair of cleats, a good (wood) bat, batting gloves, new good mitt, basketball shoes (no they are not just sneakers), top of the line basketball (they actually don’t cost that much), and football I couldn’t say besides cleats and a good football

Does that help any?

ItsJustMyOpinion- That’s not a bad idea I’ll get them and tell him now that for his birthday I got him tickets for then. Not a bad idea because there are basically no good tickets available for this week.

How about a gift certificate to Best Buy or some such store so he can choose something he will truly be happy with.(Who would know his interests better than him).

I’m thinking the subway gift certificate because he lives in Chicago where there is a Subway (duhh) and so does Baltimore where he goes to yeshiva so he will be able to use it there and here.

There’s a store in Lincolnwood (I think it’s somewhere near Touhy) that makes custom-made baseball bats. You can get him a bat with his name on it. Or you can give him a gift certificate and they will make the bat to his specifications.
