I’m questioning now, of black friday etc… has anything to do with their avodah zarah (or shituf, in any case r”n from the chamuros, the first 2 Aseres Hadibros) holiday. It seems an erhlicher Yid should distance himself from it completely, from advertising or perhaps even buying. (Toisfos in A”Z 2a discusses another issue.)

I am sorry to admit, that from the start, I was advertising cyber Monday. Maybe then my negius did not allow me to think straight, and this year, that I am taking a break from work, I am seeing it more clearly.
