My whole thread is gone!
Mod: You have got to be kidding me. Did you read the thread? I was making a very good point, and there was nothing offensive in the delivery.
Quite frankly, there was absolutely nothing in my posts which was putting down the torah, or anyone except the people I was trying to criticize.
Well, at least a few people saw it, and maybe they will be more considerate if they find themselves in that situation.

It is so hard to be objective about oneself and one’s own work.
Worse than being offensive, your OP wasn’t even funny.
July 25, 2011 1:02 am at 1:02 am #789114But I didn’t seeeeeeeee eeeet.
July 25, 2011 1:03 am at 1:03 am #789115I see. You think I’m not being objective.
So your contention is that I really did post it to be offensive, and then denied it to be more offensive, and now am acting indignant to be more offensive?
But that would mean I was being deliberately offensive now. And you think I am just not being objective.
So maybe I did it originally to be offensive, and now am imagining that I really did it in earnest and not to be offensive.
Is that likely? Have I ever not owned up to when I was trying to be offensive? (Think “Are women jewish”, etc.)
July 25, 2011 1:24 am at 1:24 am #789116Being offensive to get people to be considerate seems counterproductive. “Do as I say, not as I do”?

Agreed.
July 25, 2011 1:58 am at 1:58 am #789118popa,
my fault!
but anyway when you earn a reputation of making troll posts you get what you deserve
July 25, 2011 2:01 am at 2:01 am #789119coffee is a mod?
Or do you mean because you suggested it belonged on motzaei shabbos?
Motzaei shabbos is kind of late these days, especially here in new zealand.
July 25, 2011 2:17 am at 2:17 am #789120no I wish,
maybe people can suggest it to the mods (I’m on as often as they are if not more)
I suggested it belonged on Motzei Shabbos
isn’t NZ in the southern hemisphere therefore it should be winter over there and an early motzei shabbos?
July 25, 2011 2:22 am at 2:22 am #789121isn’t NZ in the southern hemisphere therefore it should be winter over there and an early motzei shabbos?
Yes, but nobody wants to post when it’s shabbos in NY.
July 25, 2011 2:35 am at 2:35 am #789122good point however people do start posting in EY when it’s Motzei Shabbos over there
July 25, 2011 2:43 am at 2:43 am #789123pba: maybe it’s time to start your own blog?
July 25, 2011 2:44 am at 2:44 am #789124I have one. It is called Wolfish Musings.
July 25, 2011 3:06 am at 3:06 am #789125Yeah and I’m cinderella
July 25, 2011 5:19 am at 5:19 am #789126and I’m Joseph!
July 25, 2011 12:11 pm at 12:11 pm #789127Yes, but nobody wants to post when it’s shabbos in NY.
Is there a problem with posting where its Shabbos in NY? I do that all the time. It doesn’t even go up until the mods read it after Shabbos.
Yeah and I’m cinderella
I thought that was just a story. I didn’t know it was based on a real person.
July 25, 2011 1:33 pm at 1:33 pm #789128As long as the mods only delete your threads and they dont block you, its fine
I find your posts quite entertaining
That thread made me think that maybe you are one of those older singles who feel like nebs when given gelilah and thats why you were so steamed up about it
July 25, 2011 2:01 pm at 2:01 pm #789129oh yeah that’s what it’s about (i forgot what your thread was about and was actually looking for it before I saw “blazes”)
July 25, 2011 2:22 pm at 2:22 pm #789130I thought that thread was very interesting. I disagreed with it but it was interesting. In our shul there is a youth minyan. So, all the youths are in that separate minyan and in the regular one gelila is not relegated to any one particular group. Well, thats not entirely accurate. Bereishis time we tend toward righties. devarim time we tend toward lefties. And thats just because no one wants to fast. Oh, theres also a few body builder types. We can rely on them all year round!!
July 25, 2011 3:02 pm at 3:02 pm #789131what was the thread about?
July 25, 2011 4:51 pm at 4:51 pm #789132I thought that was just a story. I didn’t know it was based on a real person.
It is and if you want I can give you a great deal on a bridge and it’s not so far from you…. it’s in Brooklyn
