Dentists have the motive and the ability to sabotage our teeth so we keep coming back. There is no reason not to suspect them of this. I trust my dentist because I know him and I genuinely believe that he is a good person who wouldn’t hurt his patients, but unless your dentist and my dentist are the same person, you should assume that your dentist uses abrasives and chemicals on your healthy teeth to give them cavities.November 15, 2018 11:22 am at 11:22 am #1624164takahmamashParticipant
Since, B”H, I’ve only had one cavity in the past 30+ years, I doubt my dentist “uses abrasives and chemicals n my healthy teeth.” And I highly doubt we use the same dentist. In fact, since it’s been 30+ years, there are two dentists involved in my oral care.
Why do you write troll posts like this?November 15, 2018 11:49 am at 11:49 am #1624184
If you’re so quick to question my motives, why can’t we both question the motives of other people’s dentists together?November 15, 2018 12:47 pm at 12:47 pm #1624198apushatayidParticipant

Ever heard of the dentist, after examining a guy’s mouth, calls his wife “Call back the Shadchan, tell him we’ll go for full support”November 15, 2018 9:27 pm at 9:27 pm #1624864sarirayParticipant
I know of one dentist in my community who seems to diagnose cavities six at a time…. happened to at least four people I know including myself. I went elsewhere and had none. Some dentists lie to keep busy. Make sure your dentist puts your teeth before his profit.November 16, 2018 7:54 am at 7:54 am #1625000
So, is a polygraph enough?November 18, 2018 9:38 am at 9:38 am #1625349
Actually, polygraphs are worthless. However, in vino veritas.
