There is so much insight to be offered and received in the CR.
Yes,I have a wonderful rov, close friends and wise mentors in real life,b”h.
NOW THAT WE GOT ALL THAT OUT OF THE WAY.:)
Did anyone here learn the answers to these questions?
1.Does TRUTH always reveal itself DURING the lifetime of the person ruined by falsehood?
2.Can a person daven profusely for a yeshuah, and simply not merit it? I understand that no tefila ever goes to waste, but a general tefilah for a general lightening of one’s burdens–can those tefilos possibly not “help” him if his neshama still needs to suffer more?
Please provide the sources if you recall them.

1) ‘Sheker Lo Ka’ee’ – Falshood does not stand. How long it takes to crumble is not clearly known. It just will have to crumble. Take Russian communism, it took 70 years. However ‘..THEY GRIND EXCEEDING SMALL’ (you know that quote, I’m sure)
2) HaShem listens and sometimes answers with ‘mein tiere kind, right now it’s best for you not to… You’ll eventually understand my whole plan’. Asking Tzadikim to intercede helps GREATLY! ??? ??? ??? ????? ???? ?????. True friends also help with their tefillos. One last point, davening for someone else (in the same matzav) greatly helps. I’m sure you’re aware of ?????? ??? ????? ???? ???? ????? ??? ??? ???? ?????.

Looking around, I’d say the answer is no.
“Can a person daven profusely for a yeshuah, and simply not merit it?”
I would assume so.

I’d think not necessarily. This is an ‘alma deshikra’ – world of falsehood. Though, of course, Hashem is there behind the scenes taking note and running the show according to His script.
Eventually, the truth comes out. There is a medrash on a possuk (remember only very vaguely, have to find it) that says ‘can a person do [evil] deeds in private and I will not show him to others?’
2. “Can a person daven profusely for a yeshuah, and simply not merit it?”
There is no short, or clear answer to that. There are so many different variables. However, our job is to continue to daven. By davening we improve ourselves and become more meritorious and thus more likely to deserve the yeshuah.

….I’d say the answer is no.
– on that point I do agree, because sometimes after a person’s passing does the truth come out as hard as that is to accept.
But other than, what I can say is that at the end of the day the truth does come out…it may not be today, tommorrow or in years…but some of the truth WILL definitly come out clearing the person being wronged! I believe Hashem would not allow someone to suffer so long (in a place where he was wronged) without some kind of amazing tunrabout that people realize how foolish they were not to see the truth and be blinded by sheker.
Every person has their time- if your sitting in the dark now- its only gonna be so much brighter soon..and your soon is gonna come!!
2- On- “Can a person daven profusely for a yeshuah, and simply not merit it? …,but a general tefilah for a general lightening of one’s burdens–can those tefilos possibly not “help” him if his neshama still needs to suffer more?
i dont have a sourse but on my life’s experincesand knowing many people suffering’s- i can say that asking Hashem to “lighten” or “give me strength to deal with it” or what ever it is you want to ask to make things easier- i say IT DOES help…even the tefilla gives on strenth and hope…if you have that connection sometimes you can draw strength from that alone…
I hope that whatever/whoever is in a hard situation- should know Hashem does not let a person suffer for forver and there is ALWAYs a yeshuah…u can even find it in the small things!

April 28, 2011 11:28 pm at 11:28 pm #762560truth be toldMemberQuestion: Other than honor, what good comes out of the “truth” revealing itself? Does the truth about the 36 hidden tzadikim who keep the world standing ever come out?
The more we run after honor, the more honor runs away.

I can’t answer that question. That question can only be answered by one experiencing the immense pain of the aforementioned. I don’t think anybody wants to be in that ‘uncomfortable’ position. We find David Hamelech being mispalel ???? ??? ?? ??????. There is a reason why they’re called the ‘who keep the world standing’, not everyone else can withstand such anguish.
April 29, 2011 5:05 am at 5:05 am #762564MindOverChatterParticipantThis question is very old. “Tzaddik vera lo rasha vetov lo”. Unfortunately, we are now in galus, and the truth may not surface.
Nevertheless, nobody can ever hide from Hashem Who knows and sees the emes. This, as well as many unanswered questions will be clarified with the coming of Moshiach.
April 29, 2011 8:27 pm at 8:27 pm #762572ShrekParticipantEclipse, your pain is not meaningless. Hashem surely knows and sees all the difficulties you are experiencing. The salvation can come in the “blink of an eye”.
Don’t give up! It could be in your merit that a yeshua comes to Klal Yisroel.
