    What are your favorite Jewish books or novels?

    Mine: Family secrets and In Every Generation.

    In Every Generation–I read it,too sad for me.

    Family Secrets–I couldn’t put it down,but also sad.

    I try not to read jewish books. By discussing ones you think are good might give me a nisayon to try one of them. What lashon hara you would be saying if i followed up on that and then made a Kal vchomer to the ones you dont think are the best.

    I have read In Every Generation a few times in the past number of years. The story is full of nisyonos, your heart goes out to them.

    I have gotten tremendous chizuk reading the book.

    Sun Inside Rain by M. Bassra (I think!), any Marcus Lehmann book, Uri Gotessman’s books, Avner Gold series, Mayer Bendet, Captive Soul by Shoshana Schwartz, Against the Wall by Ruthie Pearlman, Shadows on the Moon by Brocha Goykadosh, and a lot of others-I just can’t think of them right now! 🙂
