Hi! does anyone know of a ladies Kinus gathering that will take place tonight in Boro Park, closer to the midwood section? i don’t mind if it’s a shul in the area too. I hear that Ateres Chynka is having having a gathering and will talk about the introduction of kinus, what does that mean?

Thanks! May we be zoche to have tisha b’av turn into a Yom Tov!!

I second the question- anyone know of a women’s gathering in BP (or close to BP) area with kinos (or something related) in English tonight?

    Thanks

    Ahuva,

Yeah, the gathering at Ateres Chynka is very meaningful.

I’ve been there many times. It is a big Kiddush Hashem!

It’s for those who really care, want to feel,

and don’t just look as to how to get over Tisha B’av, but want to

be united in our mourning, educated on what we are missing, and learn what we can do to make a difference.

Also for those who don’t know what they’re saying it gives meaning to the words so they’re not something to mumble.

(sometimes they explain before certain kinos as to what you are we are lamenting about.

There’s no pressure (for those who don’t have too much patience) and once you pay the fee, you can come and go as you please coming back later the next day to hear any of the wonderful speeches!

Going there one FEELS Tisha B’av, and comes out ahead.

If you want to grow, I HIGHLY suggest you try it out.

Yes In ateres Chyka……… Eicha together with intro followed by 45 min drasha related to Tisha Bav and same all day tomorrow. Kinos explained followed by one great drasha after another. Nearly all free and $$$$ papers have it advertised.

Rav Schorr speaks in English in his shule between shkiya and Eicha.
