Does anyone else out there notice an increase in the Misnagdesh / Litvish population of Borough Park? I see this more and more, especially in the “outskirts” of the neighborhood.

I believe Lakewood is turning Chasidish by a far far greater degree than BP is turning Litvish.

If you are not learning in Lakewood and are working you are a second class citizen, true or false? More and more pple need money that’s why they are flocking to the chassidishe oilom where its not such a busho to actually be working… Although I’m not too sure why the chassidim are flocking to the learning I guess it’s bc they already made thier bucks…

Beware, the Litvaks are overruning BP. 3 people wore tefillin in BP this morning.

Here’s a quiz based on the population at today’s activity. ID the following:

    1) shaved head, long payess curled inward

    2) tzitzit with no stripes, worn outside shirt

    3) knickers and white knee socks

    4) knickers, white knee socks and bekeshe

    5) knickers, white knee socks and shirt, black vest

    6) black hat, turned up (I think), black suit, no tie

    –(mechitza)–

    7) small hat on top of short sheitel

    8) large tichel, suit

    9) dark sheitel, black top and skirt, silver shoes

    10) colorful tichel, tan sweater, long black skirt

    11) blue shirt, blue and green skirt

    12) black and white striped sweater and black skirt, black and white striped sweater and black skirt, black and white striped sweater and black skirt, black and white striped onesie

    Extra credit:

    1) How many KLP juice boxes did I pick up and throw away that didn’t belong to me?

    2) Where was I?

The chassidishe way only became a fad later on in Jewish history the litvishe way is the real way to be a good Jew, so don’t mock sth that is the reality pls. Your offending me!

    “black and white striped onesie”

    1+, WC!

“How many.. did I pick up.. that didn’t belong to me”

This, I do when outside of BP (or similar places)

(In town, I just ignore it)
