A large department store in Canada (The Bay) has decided to pull AHAVA beauty products from their shelves, bowing to pressure by several groups who wish to boycott all Israeli made products. Because of this, many Jews in Israel are in danger of losing their Jobs, if overall demand for their products fall…I’ve also heard of this happening elsewhere throughout the US as well….What is our responsibility? Not to shop at these stores? Buy more Israeli made products? Ignore it all together?

Send this video to the management of The Bay.

Not to shop in those stores; the economic pressure has to be stronger the other way.

I would say not shopping at those stores could be a good idea. However, it sort of enforces the notion that boycotts are a good idea.

I am planning to send them an email complaining.

There are many good responses, and they aren’t mutually exclusive. Encourage your friends to launch a “BUY-cott”–specifically buying Israeli products and shopping at stores resisting pressure from anti-Israel types. Call or write companies that have boycotted and tell them how disapointed you are. Call companies that are still deciding and let them know how you feel.

I heard about these recent boycotts – and they’re not just in Canada – it’s flooding through Europe as well.

ask for the isreali products in that so store, so thay see that people are not intresed in the boycott. they are in the bussiness of making money and will do what they think apeals to their clientel.

everyone should post this on facebook and the facebook pages of those companies not being brought into the stores
