I’ve heard many times that when a boy and girl are dating, the boy makes up his mind first, and sometimes even right away that they want to marry the girl. Ive heard of this happening a lot. Why is that? And is that even true, or are there cases where girls who know faster, that this is “the one they want to marry” and the boy isn’t sure?
There’s exceptions to every rule.
I will throw out a theory that since women tend to process things emotionally it takes them longer to come to a decision or a conclusion.
Boys are smarter, and better at making decisions quickly and accurately.
Girls just look around at what everyone else is doing, which doesn’t work well with dating, since everyone else who dated this guy didn’t marry him. Eventually, they realize that everyone else who is dating generally is getting engaged. If the boy is still dating them at this point, then they get engaged.

I am curious as to which person had the stats to say that boys make up their minds first before starting this whole rumor thing.
How would they know this to be true?
Of course this will come off as making all men appear shallow (and I am a male)……
Boys are most concerned with money/support and looks. The money and support he will already know about from the shadchan, and he’ll make up his mind pretty quickly about the looks.
Girls are probably looking for something more emotional and it will take time for that to develop.
