Brands of Frozen Veggies

Is there any nafka minah between the various brands of frozen (checked) vegetables? Bodek, Eden, Golden Flow etc.
November 30, 2011 11:32 pm at 11:32 pm #831423smartcookieMemberI don’t think there’s any difference with all those brands. I always use Eden- because they have a Greenhouse Grown line of produce with is definitely bug free. No other brand has that.

Some rely more on samples than others, some reply more on washing than others. Some rely more on the greenhouse process itself than others. There is actually a wide machlokes between the OU and the Star-K on this. Positive Produce is the cleanest, but they achieve it using chumras that my rav views as Bal Tashchis.As always, ask your LOR.
