I think you’re allowed to leave for parnossa, for learning, and to get married. (It doesn’t say to go to the Catskills, but of course it doesn’t need to. It’s a davar pashut. Also, some hold that you’re allowed to leave to the Catskills if you have kavanah that it’s only temporary.)
But everyone should of course ask his/her posek.
