Dear Brothers & Sister,
As the winter is approaching… and back to the old routine.. Remember.. whatever situation you are.. Be B’simcha! know hashem is taking care of you!!! If we yidden will have little more bituchin! then e/t would be ok! Lets see the good that hashem gives us and stop focusing on the bad!!!!!!!!!!!!
B’simcha Rabbah!
He is still high from his dveikus to Hashem in the “tzila demehemnusa”, ie the sukkah. Shkoyach, APY, and we all be zoche to feel it! Not so easy in these dark days.
The idea is to hold on to the Simcha of Succos and maintain through the Winter. We need to work hard to maintain it…
any practical tips?
Orchos tzadikim recommends focusing on the good Hashem has given you. As a practical matter, he recommends setting aside some time every day to focus on the fact that Hashem loves you (and you love Hashem), and singing soulful tunes which increase your dveykus to Hashem.
go to israel it doesnt feel like winter there
Look for something to be grateful for and be happy about it.
Fall is beautiful…I miss the chilly weather and the crunchy autumn leaves. Go put on a jacket and jump into a pile of red and orange leaves 4 me!
Take e/o outside and have a leaf-throwing fight.
Wear mittens instead of gloves.
Get a pair of green, furry earmuffs.
Prepare hot cocoa for afterwards.
Hang out w/ friends and fam.
Enjoy life!
I remember those days…nice one hud.
