First we had “Attention all CR Lefties”. Then “Attention all CR Rightys”. And not ignoring “CR is out of hand”. So what should I do?
Well I thought I may aswell throw my hat (black or otherwise) into the ring, especially if I can be doing other things with my other hand at the same time!
Since I was a young child I’ve known that I’m ambidextros! My teachers all told me that on the one hand I’m a cute boy, but on the other hand I’m a bit cheeky!!
And that’s where it ends. Right there. Cos I’m really a righty. That’s right. I was just having a right good time, pretending to be otherwise. You’re either right or you’re not, right? There are no other options. Am I right? Yes I’m right. And I’d rather be right and only right than any other option. Otherwise you will get left behind. Left right behind. Have I left myself clear? Right.
Where had we left off? Oh right. Dont be jealous if you are not ambidextrous! Some people are. A famous boxer wishes he was. He is quoted as saying “Oh man, I’d give my right arm to be ambidextros!”
Ambidextrous is double as good. Right?

March 30, 2011 12:55 pm at 12:55 pm #806179tzippiMemberI thought ambidextroses meant people who like all kinds of sugar.
Never mind. I don’t belong.
March 30, 2011 3:10 pm at 3:10 pm #806180Pashuteh YidMemberI had a Rebbe who is one of the gedolei hador, and he was completely ambidextrous. He would often write a sentence on the board with one hand, and when he got to the middle of the board, he would switch hands and finish the other half.
He has written numerous sefarim on shas and chiddushei Torah.
I believe I later had a math professor who was similar, and also a complete genius. I concluded that some very bright people are ambidextrous.
March 30, 2011 4:54 pm at 4:54 pm #806181twistedParticipantAs a lefty, I learned very young that often one must accomodate to a right handed world. My first challenge was scissors, and then one piece chair/desks. In my work, I found that there were hammer blows that would work only one way, and once having to hand cut thirty pipes, I learned to saw with the right hand. Of my children, four out of six are left handed, one was ambi as a first grader, my oldest began to put tefillin on both ways, and the youngest was undecided until a therapist made her a righty, but she remains very right brained and artistic. We theorize that my FIL’s family who were all lost in the shoah, must have had a strong left gene pool.
March 30, 2011 5:00 pm at 5:00 pm #806182GumBallMemberbeing ambidextrouse makes u special, being special makes u unique, being unique makes u AMAZING!!! EL OH EL!!
March 30, 2011 5:01 pm at 5:01 pm #806183veteranMemberThank you Pashuteh Yid – until you told us that one of the Gedolei Hador was ambidextrous, I did not know if it was Torahdig for a frum person to be that way. Turns out, Eilu vEilu divrei Eloykiim Chayim. So it is muttar to be a lefty because the Steipler was, it is muttar to be a rightie because R’ Moshe was, and now we know that it is even muttar to be ambidextrous. Chasdei Hashem.

March 31, 2011 5:30 pm at 5:30 pm #806187tomim tihyeMemberFinally. A thread just for me. Thank you, Shticky!
Truthfully, I wrote with my left hand until a (smart) teacher said, “Your penmanship is awful; you might as well write with your right hand.”
So I became ambidextrous.

I can talk and confuse people at the same time.
September 6, 2011 8:59 pm at 8:59 pm #806192Shticky GuyParticipantI can even write and confuse people at the same time!
In fact, by righting with a pen in each of my hands and talking simultaneously, I could actually confuse 3 people at the same time. And that must be right. Because it’s not wrong. I can not only right with my right hand but even right with my left (or wrong) hand. And you’d be able to read my righting easily. Without problem. Because I right very well with both my right hand and with the hand that I have left while using my right hand to right. Is that clear? Or are you left behind? Cause if you are, I can begin again. Without hesitation. Right at the beginning. Or would you rather I just left it right where I am now?
