My pain goes back and forth from my ears to my teeth.

    Doc outta town.

Or is it the dentist I need?

Anyone ever have seeming-like-ear-pain from a tooth problem?

It is possible. Often occurs in relation to wisdom teeth.

If it’s your top teeth halfway back and they kill when you tap them then it’s your sinuses!

There was an article a while back about someone’s tooth stuck in their ear:

If it was someone else’s ear, it would mean that they are trying to chew your ear off. Otherwise, you can feel tooth pain very high up.

To Eclipse, I think that jewishgirl09 is probably right on this one. So far to date I’ve had 3 out of 4 wisdom teeth extracted. I have a feeling that my 4th one will be sooner than later. Every single time that I had a problem w/ the next wisdom tooth, I had literally crazy excruciating pain coming from my ear. It was not normally painful. It was really hard being at work at the same time as having the pain. I thought I was going out of my box already. When it comes to ear pain, I’m pretty sensitive to certain types of noises cause it just hurts my ear a lot. Like for ex. an electric stapler, ringing of phone amongst other things as well. But, I wish you lots of luck on getting whatever treatment is necessary done.

Of course it can, especially if it is the wisdom teeth. They can cause referred pain. Also, you might have a TMJ problem which will can perceived as pain in the ears.

Have a doc look in your ear. Teeth cavities can spread to the sinuses or ear. But it’s probably just the virus in your eustacian tube and your ear. Take a decongestant.

    Eclipse,

I’m not a doctor, but from personal experience, ear/jaw/tooth pain can have a wide variety of causes, including and not limited to:

    – Pain from clenching or grinding teeth (a night guard might solve the problem).

    – Ear infection(s) from your recent illness.

    – Wisdom tooth infection.

    – Sinus pain/congestion.

    – Root canal problem.

At any rate, it’s a good idea to see your doctor and/or dentist! It’s especially important not to sit on a root canal problem, since those can become excruciating.
