Post here when you are making challah, so we can divide into tranches of 40 women (and men who are acting like women by making challah).
First 40 every week are in the first group. Next 40 are in the next group, etc.
Popa is making this week.
Mod 42 will be eating challa this week…
What are “tranches”?
If I baked challa, I would do it on Sunday.

I bake weekly, generally less than shiur challa, but if you need me just post, and I can increase it. ( a guy, woman stand in)
I feel really guilty now. Maybe I should go make challah. But it takes 4 hours.

Is it a mitzvah for a single girl?
I would subscribe to the second tranch but only if it comes with the right to be converted into saying shir hashirim if the first group produces too much challah and the second is not necessary.
WIY: And why not? D’oraysa there’s no difference.
This reminds me of the Facebook group “if you wanna be forgiven before yom kippur” that everybody joins and supposedly, by joining, indicates that they forgive everyone else who has joined.
I don’t know, I get suspicious of these things. I’m not sure that there’s a reliable halachic basis.

k random q but whats the dif bet making challa w a bread machine vs food procceseor? and its better
I made the bracha on hafrashas challa today. 🙂
And I just ate a delicious challa roll. ?????’? ??’?? ???!!
With a bread machine you don’t have to knead the dough, but with a food processor I think you do. (But anyhow, doesn’t a food processor chop the food, but a mixer mix?) Also, a bread machine can actually bake the bread for you. FYI I use a bread machine.
