How to change your coffee room name
What would you like to change it to?
Why in the world would someone like to change their screen name? Oh…
i would like to change it because i no longer need seminary help Baruch Hashem!! 🙂
What name do you want to change to?
What if someone wantsto change screen name without announcing it to the world? Say for example someones anonymoys status is no longer and they wish to use a new screen name unknown to people. It is unlikely they will announce that change in the coffee room. I suppose one can simply create a new user name but then one runs into the multiple screen names from same email address concundrum and might even get labeled spammmer.
One could request a name change in a post labeled “FOR MODERATOR READ ONLY – PLEASE DO NOT POST”.
Alternatively, one can create a new user name and inform us of the change so that we know not to block you.

100 – Sometimes some mods aren’t happy to have a user change the s/n. Sometimes they don’t like when a user wants to start afresh. Sometimes… (have times changed?)

I have been through 4 or 5 iteratiions. It’s like a personality transplant, but not multiple personality like Joseph.
Like twisted said, there is a difference between having a new and having multiple screen names.
