Has anyone out there heard of a minhag to abstain from attending a Chasunah on the day of a parent’s Yahrzeit. If so, do you know of a source?

Most Chasanahs are held at night. Is your question the night before or the night after. Say the Yahziet is Monday then you can’t partake in the meal if it’s Sunday night but you can go to the Chuppah. If it’s Monday night it’s the next day and it is even permissible to attend the meal also RA”mah Yoreh Deah 391:3

I think you mean Shach, based on Rema.

DY: No, I am quoting the source brought in Yesodei Smachos which I verified before I posted it.

Why would someone quote a Pischei Teshuvah when it’s a Rema and a Shach?

The P”T refers to that Shach, but isn’t paskening the din. It’s in the first page I linked to.

DY: Ask the author of the Yesodei Smachos. I took the source directly from his sefer.
