Actually, in divorces, most of the time the children are used as weapons of war. Parents (especially mothers) try to alienate the children from their father. Its usually the same fighting-mode, selfishness, and other goodies that caused the dissolution of the marriage that is the cause for the horrendous behavior during the divorce process. Halocha is not at all respected, unfortunately
