chulent is ONLY good with fresh coke that is not flat!

postsemgirl- I hear where you coming from. Chulent is so ultra unbelievable that flat coke not only leaves you with that horrible flat coke taste…but it ruins your chulent enjoyment! Agree to my summary???

some stuff off the top of my head (the most recently eaten of my favorite foods) – ice cream :), peach pie (i have an awesome recipe for that), & my father’s cheesecake (it’s really good, with a sour cream topping)

Yeah maskim- basically lemon & lime water- Love it…but nothing beats it all cold and fuzzy straight out my Limo fridge!!! Heehee…if i talk about it any more I’m gonna really believe it’s on my driveway soon…

on topic- yesterday I had chulent with lots of hot peppers inside. T’was mighty good
erev, erev, erev shabbos chulent! Must’ve tasted mightily fresh!
thursday night its for “leil shishi”, friday “toameyhoo”, shabbes night before you go to sleep when your wife is not looking you are eating a little out of the pot, shabbos after davening your freind made a kiddush then for sure you have to eat a plate,then by the seudeh for sure you dont want to eshame your wife, “melave malke” you take a rest and the next day sunday unexpected you see in front of you a big plate with “chulent”…….. and if you are very lucky you will make sure to go to a “vach nacht” in middle of the week to win another plate…………

Really? Good to know. I’ve stopped drinking coffee ever since I joined the CR. Didn’t think I was allowed to drink since I wasn’t a mod. Thanks for clarifying 😉
