What is the schedule for Citifield this Sunday? Initially they said that the expo was scheduled for 5:00 pm and the actual Asifa from 7:00 to 9:15. I understand that now there will not be an expo. What is the schedule now? My ticket says 6:00 on it and the accompanying letter said that the doors will open at 4:30. When are things supposed to begin? And will there be an expo? Anybody in the know? I left messages at the Ichud phone number but nobody returned my calls.
Mincha is scheduled for 6:30pm, program at 7. They recommend arriving in the parking lot at 5:30 to allow for passing through security and finding your seat. I’m guessing it will take less time than that, but they haven’t done this before (most attendees to Citi Field events are more familiar with the stadium than those expected at the asifa), so they’re just making sure. I think I’ll daven Mincha earlier, and aim to be there at 6. If I’m right that it won’t take an hour, I’ll be happy to answer Amen and Y’hei Shmei Rabba a number of times with tens of thousands of Yidden.
DaasYochid, it says in the ads that it will take an hour to get through security. So it makes sense to get there an hour earlier.
Poster, as I said, I’ll aim to be there at 6 to be seated, even if it takes an hour, by 7 for the program.
