I think this guy has to be found and given a slap to. how dare you go in middle of my zaides kever and make a color war breakout for your camp? shame on you ! this is jewish ticktock now? how low can you stoop?I’m very open minded & many of the most irreverent things don’t bother me. But even I found this to be in very poor taste

I remember a camp legend when I was a kid (I.e. probably made up, but we all believed it) that they did a levaya breakout once, and when they opened the aron, they found the counselor dead.

Its time to step back and reconsider the whole “color war” shtick at summer camps in the broader context of global geopolitics and militarism. Parents sending their pure yiddeshe neshamas to a summer camp do not expect them to be indoctrinated in the barbaric violence of milchama and instead hope they learn to peacefully engage with those bunks whose residents they disagree and sit around the campfire and sing “Oseh Shalom” to the melody of Kumbayah. As chazal bring down the inyan of “Make Love Not War”, summer camp must reinvest itself in this pacifist model.
