There are SO MANY threads complaining about anything & everything gone & going wrong. Imagined or real.
So I’m starting this one to ‘complain’ about things going well!
May 3, 2011 2:19 pm at 2:19 pm #764861ZeesKiteParticipantHow terrible! I woke up this morning, counted all my part & pieces, found them all intact and refreshed, washed & got out of bed. Isn’t that just terrible. Furthermore, I found my Zeeskites happily & lovingly enjoying each other & playing together. How utterly horrible! Gotta do something about that. (Yea – that’s what one part of Davening is made for – ????? ?? ????)
May 3, 2011 2:57 pm at 2:57 pm #764862amichaiParticipantlet’s count our blessings! healthy family, beautiful day out! a good chodesh to all.
May 5, 2011 9:01 pm at 9:01 pm #764863adorableParticipantunbelievably stunning day outside today. its sunny but not humid at all you cannot get better thank you Hashem for everything this world is unreal!
May 5, 2011 10:08 pm at 10:08 pm #764864bptParticipantgoogle “the world as a village of 100 people” and see just how fortunate we really are, in terms of material wealth and physical well being and comfort.
Shocking to see how several billion people live, and how many things we take for granted (p.s. – simply being able to read this and read it on a computer, puts us ahead of some 2 billion people in this world).
Oh, and running tap water thats safe to drink? That’s another luxury many people (close to 1/3) cannot count on.
Yeah, I’d say we’re lacking of things to complain about!
May 6, 2011 7:17 pm at 7:17 pm #764865am yisrael chaiParticipantI just got on and had to complain about that 84 year old (ok, no l”H) being compared to Dovid Hamelech. The thread was closed, so I needed to vehemently vent here.
THERE IS NO COMPARISON.
Read the meforshim & medrash.

could you please include a copy of the above complaint in the 84-year old thread?
I am “eckled” that the comparison of this lowlife to Dovid Hamelech was not challenged.

May 8, 2011 5:43 am at 5:43 am #764868HealthParticipantWalton – Please start learning Gemorra. The Gemorra says on exactly your question(s) -Anybody who says Dovid Hamelach sinned -Aino Elah Toeh (Is only making a mistake)!

May 8, 2011 12:37 pm at 12:37 pm #764872walton157Member@Health: Thanks for responding. But wasn’t Dovid Hamelech punished for doing what he did? Or was that for something else.
Please let me know.
May 8, 2011 2:19 pm at 2:19 pm #764873ZeesKiteParticipantwalton157: Please let’s keep our hands off our ‘Malachim’. We’re talking here about one who is represented on the ???? ?????. Believe me, I know nothing about what I just wrote, other than to keep my distance from thinking (c”v judging) about our holiest. Tanach was written for us to take lessons, not to associate our personalities with the greatest. We (all of us) have NO IDEA what transpired, the nisyonos…

Like Health said, the gemara explains this.
Someone could type the explanations to this answer, as well as the answers that will arise after you hear the explanations. But it’s easier if you just ask your rabbi to explain it.
