    Is there someone out there who can recommend a program to help clean up cookies, malware, etc. that’s slowing down my internet? It’s getting out of hand.

    If you suspect you have malware you can try malwarebytes . CClleaner can erase cookies/internet history and other files that are slowing down your system.

    I’ve been using CCLeaner. It doesn’t seem to affect the internet speed.

    In addition to the two excellent programs iac mentioned, make sure you have an antivirus installed. If you don’t, Avast is an excellent free download. (Decline their offer for the non-free version and decline any trial offers.)

    I currently Norton Internet Security installed Is that any good?

    I believe Norton Internet Security includes Norton Antivirus. Norton is excellent as long as the subscription is active.

    Malwarebytes is the best. Internet speed may also be affected by other devices on the network. Ensure that nobody else is connected (change wifi password).
