Theories are only till they are proven. Were there conspiracies between various people and agencies for certain gain? Yes, obviously. They only remained a secret until they were exposed and proven in public.

Powers and greed are the two main reasons shady deals are crafted. As long as the human species exist there will be all sorts of conspiracies.

Like that leaders of poor (and not so poor) countries hide their money in off-shore bank accounts? Or maybe it’s too basic a concept to be called a conspiracy theory.

Not sure how Obama’s birthplace is a conspiracy theory. Do people think that the Democrat establishment had a brilliant idea in 1961 to hire a couple to have a baby overseas, whom they would then raise and promote to the presidency? If so, I wholeheartedly agree.

There clearly are pauses eg “I come from (pause) Kenya” It could also easily be cut if he had said “wackos like Health think I come from Kenya and planted seeds in Hawaiian apers at my birth knowing I would one day run for president which even if I was born in Kenya since I am a natural born citizen as my mother was a citizen under the constitution I would be eligible anyway.”

Has that been proven?

Yes, some conspiracy theories have been proven true.

For example, long unsubstantiated claims of government surveillance of private citizen electronic communications were later confirmed with the release then-secret NSA information by the Edward Snowden in 2013.

Prior to this, the Wikileaks organization, reportedly headed by Julian Assange, publicized the then-secret reports of international espionage back in 2006.

I suppose one could go further back to the release of the “Pentagon Papers” by Daniel Ellsberg in the 1971 having to do with the US fighting in Vietnam.

Depending on how one defines a conspiracy theory or what it takes to turn that into fact, there are probably a large number of them, though not nearly as many as there are bogus theories.

In the end, it’s hard to know what is true and what is false just by reading about a controversy. Most of the time, it pays to reserve judgement for a while to allow “the noise” to subside and the facts to come to light.

According to the U.s. constitution : (article 2 section 1)

“No Person except a natural born Citizen, … shall be eligible to the Office of President…”

As to what constitutes a “natural born citizen”

I refer you to U.S. code title 8 1401

“The following shall be nationals and citizens of the United States at birth: … a person born outside the geographical limits of the United States and its outlying possessions of parents one of whom is an alien, and the other a citizen of the United States …”
