I need a white or vanilla cupcake recipe, almost all the recipes online call for milk, does anyone have an easy recipe that is parve?

    Thanks.

You can use pareve milk or orange juice instead of regular milk.

You can replace the milk in cake recipes with parve milk such a soy milk, almond milk, or rice milk, either the “original” versions or the “vanilla” versions. You can also usually replace it with diluted orange juice (half juice half water). The orange juice adds a bit of a flavor which may even improve the results.

This should work for cupcakes –

    Good luck!

Best recipe i have used is from “Haimishe Cook Book”

If you can’t get hold of a copy I will write it out here.

I do have one, which I’ll try to post soon, but in most recipes you can replace the milk with some other liquid. I find that orange juice or lemonade work best as they have the sugar and acidity like milk but I’ve used apple juice and even seltzer or water. If you still want the recipe let me know (it is for ‘lemon cupcakes’ but they are not really lemony)

Just remember that cupcakes bake faster than cakes so cut the baking time. Usually about 20-25 minutes does it but check for doneness.
