perhaps a techinos or a nice tehillim or something along those lines?

On a totally different track, you could personalize a clock or calendar from a photosite? Very useful, and usually forgotten to buy.

If she’s not moving after marriage, you could do something personal-fun, like if she’s an ice cream lover, u could get a fun set of those colorful, ice cream cone shape bowls/cups.

i think most useful would be a recipe book with all your mother’s best recipes and decorate it with family pictures – it’s very useful and personalised i’m sure she’d love it!

Get her stuff shed never buy herself but would love to use..

Like a set of rainbow colored knives

    A markerboard (so fun!)

Those decorated wigheads (no idea where u buy em)

Something pretty from pier one imports (w gift receipt)

Or.. More on the meaningfull side, u cant go wrong w an “Anenu” or “Tefilas Chanah” Sefer.

    1) My sisters together made me a recipe book of all their best tried and true recipes, supper ideas etc. I have a nice collection of store bought recipe books, I use this the most!

Though it is work writing each recipe. In the beginning I loved making a recipe and figuring out whose handwriting it is.

    2) Another nice idea is a clock with her wedding invitation/chosson kallah picture as the background, there are a lot of stores that make that.

A cute Hafrashas challah to hang up in the kitchen, you can get a decorative one in any Judaica store, alternatively, the same idea in a AL ahmichya. Anything she hangs in her kitchen will be a constant reminder of u!!

Some shmattos, some cleaning solution, a mop, dishwashing soap, steel wool, etc.

wow these are good ideas keep them coming!! 😀 …she has a tehillim with english translation that she just bought, she’s probably gonna bring her kosher lamp with her, and her friend just made her a recipe book even though i love the idea! she has a nice hafrashas challah and an aneni book… i like the clock idea too. ..i was going to type a lot of Torah classes we went to together and we were both obsessed with the speaker and bind it in a book for her so she can read it over.

i was scared she might not have the time to look back at it and read it and was thinking maybe i should get her soemthing more useful. wat do u think?
