Is there any jewish theme to the song (besides that it happened on chanuka)
Maybe that the kids davening sent the father home? IDK I do know that it’s my favorite song (at least YBC and maybe even of all songs!) But it can also be a bit misleading. In the middle of the song it says “it can’t be true” as if the father might’ve died! And the next thing you know he’s walking through the door! 🙂
