Yes, and I’m glad you mentioned the white shirt, because that is the most important part.

I once knew a guy like you are describing, but he wore a blueish tinged shirt–not really blue, but not quite white either. Obviously it would be inappropriate for a bas melech to marry him. And in fact, it proved out, because the girl he ended up marrying now wears tichels outside the house.

nope, that’s not how it works. see, there are two camps: 1. the guys who work and 2. the guys who are bnei torah and wear white shirts.

That is so wrong, popa. He didn’t have to hurt her feelings. He could have just texted her “i dont want to date u cuz your super ugly”.

OK, clearly I wasn’t so accurate and asking my question. So I’ll rephrase: Is they’re the type of boy out there that although he’s working he still associates himself with the learning/ more yeshivish world? Does that make it clearer? I know that the color of the shirt doesn’t define a person, but we all know that the outer appearance does point to who He is

RebYidd23, There are women going outside within the frum world?? Wait a second. You mean outside the house? A woman going out of the kitchen we can find heterim for, (only in extreme circumstances, of course) but outdoors?! What have we come to as frum yidden?

I think I’m going to take on some extra tehillim and I’m going to daven for the future of this nation. I can’t believe this.

There are definitely boys like that out there; they’re just becoming harder and harder to find. Chofetz Chaim, Ner Yisroel, and Torah Vodaas definitely do have boys like that.

YU’s running out of boys like that. There are some, but tons of YU guys just want to stay in learning forever.

I don’t understand why it’s necessary to always make things into a joke. It was an honest question and noones forcing you to answer… Just don’t make a mockery out of someone else’s real question.

A white shirt exposed to real work doesn’t remain white very long!

Of course it’s necessary to make a mockery out of everything. Because everything is just asking for you to make a game of it.
