outside of a dog, a book is a mans best friend. Inside of a dog it’s to dark to read. 🙂
September 26, 2011 7:26 pm at 7:26 pm #812892ToiParticipantnot garden of peace. the author is not held of by the torah community at large. i think dating books are a waste of time. you wont act yourself so its not really you on the date. ask moirei derech for advice and leave it at that.
September 26, 2011 8:28 pm at 8:28 pm #812893sam4321ParticipantToi:I know yeshivish people who read garden of peace and gained alot from it.The book has the haskama of R’Eliezer Berland and the Melitzer Rebbe. In addition, the book doesn’t make you a faker it opens your mind to understanding what marriage is really about.if one doesn’t truly act like themselves on a date it is not due to the dating books they read rather they are not true to themselves which applies to everything they do.
